Useful Information
Ontario's mental health services system continues to change itself within the framework of current
government policy. As major service providers, General Hospital Psychiatric Services/Schedule 1 facilities
are both impacted by these changes, as well as impacting on what is done by others.
Further, their multiple daily experiences in delivering a wide range of services to a large number of client's/patient's families provide a wealth of important and useful information to contribute to the eventual success, and avoidance of pitfalls, in the implementation of Mental Health Reform in Ontario.
